Who is Tamieka Briscoe?

Tamieka Briscoe, is an author and blogger from the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Ms. Briscoe’s works include her debut novel “Like a Moth to a Flame,” along with numerous blogs and essays on love, dating and relationships for PULL Magazine.

While writing fiction and blogging is her passion, Ms. Briscoe is currently working to expand her media reach into radio with her upcoming talk show where she will touch on a myriad of topics including relationships, family, and community issues.

The Fairmont Heights High School graduate and current University of Maryland student is a proud single mother who draws inspiration from being an example for her son and daughter to follow.
